Margaret Ann Oess, 62, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 7, 2014, after a 6 and a half year courageous battle with cancer. Margaret worked as a dental hygienist for many years. She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Oess; 2 daughters, Katie Oess and Carrie (Carlo) Marques; 1 son, Steve (Meg) Oess; her father, Richard Merk; 4 sisters, Kathy Yoko, Barb Otto, Linda Speckert and Julie Mavromatis; and 4 wonderful grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Ln, Vero Beach, FL. Please check back for a more detailed obituary.
