Willie “Bubba” Ervin, 71, of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away April 27, 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida. Born in Darlington, South Carolina, Willie moved to Okeechobee, Florida in 1961. He was a Mason of the 33rd degree. Willie loved Nascar, was a fan of wrestling and also loved the blues. He played pool avidly and participated in many tournaments. He is survived by a brother Levern Ervin Sr. of Okeechobee, Florida, a sister Christine Minondo of Okeechobee, Florida, a son Eric Vincent Ervin of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and a “special” niece Patricia Ervin Kennedy of Okeechobee, Florida. 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation Saturday May 2, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Services will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home in Okeechobee, Florida at 3833 SE 18th Terrace 34974.
